Laughter to tears

I laugh,

I laugh when things happen

When things are funny or sad

I laugh when things are unbelievable

I laugh when things are out-of-this world

I caught me laughing

I was laughing today

Because the news could not sink

I tried to laugh away the pain

I laugh when things are shocking

I see me laughing

I will need to laugh again

What is this I am hearing this time?

That a legend is dead!

I must express the hurt

Sadly, I do not even see

Any fun in this LAUGHTER

So, I will proceed to tears…
