“I have heard of Thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth Thee.”Job 42:5 (KJV)
When the Sermon Message, ‘I Have Heard But Now I See (65-1127E)’ came up this last week, I knew I had a recent experience of It. In particular, the Lord told me to write this Sermon Message down in my Church notes on Sunday the 16th (the morning service) as the next Message I should listen to. You see, I was really happy when the Pastor played It on Wednesday.
In respect to this testimony, I tried for some days now to write down the exact testimony. Sincerely, I assumed it must be something bigger than this experience. But no, this is it. The simple testimony is, the Lord answered the prayer we made concerning the weather. I remember on August 9th, the sun was bad, it was so hot that I couldn’t think clearly. In fact one of my sisters in the fellowship kept on telling me, ‘It’s too hot! The heat! The heat!’ It was really bad for everyone in Paris, in Orleans, everywhere I was.
On Monday when I got back home, during family devotion, I was led (at the end of the prayers) to raise the prayer point concerning the weather. The prayer was simple, ‘Lord, please we pray that the weather gets better. Let the heat go away, so we can concentrate and enjoy this summer.’ Then we left it there. The next day, the sun was hotter. Haha. But God! As at Wednesday or Thursday, it began to rain. Hallelujah!
It rained for about 3 days to calm the weather totally. It was glorious. As a matter of fact, we had a picnic fellowship planned for that Saturday. And I remember on that hot Sunday when the inspiration to have the picnic came, the weather was an issue. That was part of the reason why I raised that prayer point. God answers prayers!
My Brethren, as at Saturday when we were having the picnic (that same week), it was perfect weather! The weather was between 21-30 degrees 🙂 And God did it in such a way that the same Saturday, it didn’t rain at all. It rained every other day before and after, but on Saturday, the day the picnic was inspired to hold, it didn’t rain. Neither was there any trace of that heat that existed at the beginning of the week. God is faithful!
I believed the testimony of Brother Branham that we’ve been meditating on for a while now. How the Lord told him to command the storm to go back and have perfect weather for about 3 days until the end of the hunting trip, and how that happened just exactly the same way. Also, I believed right from when I was younger, my Dad always emphasized that God can change the weather, because It is recorded in God’s Word…
‘Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.’Isaiah 45:11 (KJV)
Holding on to These, we prayed, and God answered us. Indeed, I have heard of Him by the hearing of my ears, but now I see Him with my eyes. I have heard that the Lord can change the harsh weather condition when we pray (when we ask Him), but now I see him do it with my own eyes. I’m grateful to God. Thank You Jesus!
That’s the testimony! The Lord turned the heat into rain and clouds for about 3 days, in order for His Children to have a picnic fellowship on Saturday.
