A Coin

Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

  – Matthew 17:27 (KJV)

Verse from The Holy Bible

A coin, or more like the miracle of a coin!!! So, let’s do this very aptly 🙂 The storyline is divine. I woke up with the desire to do the laundry, and here you need to buy a coin to get that done with the washing machine.

With no cash on hand (and with them not accepting cards), I had to take this stroll to the ATM in the COLD (by faith), came back into the building (some warmth) and went to the receptionist(s) and happily said, “Je voudrais acheter des pièces à laver, s’il vous plaît.” (or without the last word)…I even repeated in English when one of the ladies asked me, “What do you want?” I said, “I want coins for washing.” And she was like, “Oh, I don’t have.” 😦

I’m like, “Cool! it’s finished? Awesome…” In my head, I’m like, “It’s Saturday, I need the washing coins, as I must do some laundry, and now they don’t have any? Oops!”

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.

I’m back upstairs in that ‘oh my God moment’ and I simply pray, “Lord, I need washing coins to wash, please provide. Amen!”

Now, let me take this back a bit. This coin matter has been in my head since Friday, I was just too ill strong to go to the ATM to withdraw the cash to buy any yesterday. But then, there is this TV table that washing coins get placed on and trust me when I say I had checked there yesterday and this morning, and I didn’t find anything there.

To make it clearer, my Roommate even checked this morning, coz she was like, “Ahhh, where are you going?” (because I was meant to be resting and all), I’m like “To the ATM and then to buy washing coins.”. She asked, “coins here have finished?” In my head, I’m like, “Yep.” She checked that table, and yeah, no washing coin. CONFIRMED.

I’m back to the present now…So, I say that prayer, walk across the room a bit, and my Spirit says, “Check the table (again).” I check this table and just there, with a slight movement of my hands, I find a COIN! (JESUS IS LORD).

Ehhhh. My God! Literally jumping and shouting and laughing at this point (WOW). You don’t know my story, let me tell it…If I don’t wash this weekend, like, no sweater to wear to work on Monday! Ahhh. This is the story of Scriptures fulfilled and more. That’s it!
