I am rich in culture and diversity
With tourist attractions spanning across my nature given landscape
You can meet me at:
the Obudu mountain resort in Cross River state
the Ngwo pine forest in Enugu state
the Olumo rock in Abeokuta, Ogun state
the Idanre hill in Ondo state
the Yankari national park in Bauchi state
but to mention a few
I was birthed in Western Africa in the year 1960
And choose my republican path three years after
My people are over 186 million dedicated Nigerians
With beaming hope in a greater and better nation
I am also a ray of light in my African continent
As one of the largest economies – I go forth to conquer!
My anthem has remained my chorus
All through my years of existence
Today, I am over five decades and counting
57 years of existence to be exact
I am not just a country
I AM NIGERIA!
