Glorying

“Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours.”- 1 Corinthians 3:21
Every time I have to look for my pen when I need to write, it makes me think for a second what the devil is up to. But like a fellow Chaplain in School always said, ‘that devil is a bastard!’ I find a phone or a tablet and write anyhow 👏💯💃

I found a confirmation to this Verse and then I had to write about it…Although, I may not be in the best state of mind, but I’m healed in Jesus’ name! Amen.
What is the angle to this Scripture? It’s pretty much any angle you can think of…

You may be expecting a miracle in a particular way, and that way ends up wrong, and God effects that miracle through a means you never imagined. It goes to say ‘He will not share His glory with any man.’

Let’s take another angle: you may be living your expectation, but then, it doesn’t add up anymore. You begin to wonder if this is really what you wanted…In basic English, you are living your ‘dream job’, but some criticism along your learning curve make you wonder what’s going on.
All these angles are still better you know, the deepest angle is when you realise you may be going through all your drama yourself…You know how Paul said, ‘all men forsook me’. When all the friends in your life…Past, Present, Future…do not even know how you’re doing per time and then you get to use that line in ‘Home Alone- part 1 or so’, “where are all those guys?”
In between my drama, I found this hymn, ‘What a friend we have in Jesus‘ and it totally spoke to the ‘complimentary Verse’…

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have:for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”- Hebrews 13:5-6

So, it goes to say, I’m happy where I am on the way to where I’m going…because I have a Friend in Jesus, and He will never leave me nor forsake me. Therefore, in my days of expectations, in my so-called low days, in my days of excitement, I always remember that all things are mine, and stick to the glorifying in the Lord Most High. Amen!

Thanks for the reminder that Jesus is the best friend we could ever have. I’ve definitely had to use the Home Alone line ‘where are those guys’ a lot of times! 😦
But glory be to God! What a friend we have in Jesus! He’s always there and He always cares. Thanks for sharing this dear. ❤ 🙂
